I am originally from the Mile-High City, Denver, Colorado. I spent my time as an undergraduate in a town best described as 4 square miles surrounded by reality, Boulder, CO. After completing my BA in biochemistry and discovering that free time was the true thief of joy, I decided to pursue my PhD in organic synthesis. I moved to Boston and joined the Porco group in fall of 2019 where I plan to stay for the foreseeable future. My project area includes the total synthesis of oxaphenalenone natural products.
Outside of chemistry I enjoy eating popcorn, starting (but not necessarily finishing) pinspired diy projects, talking with my family, and browsing Netflix.
