Hanna grew up in Geneva, Switzerland and graduated from the University of Bath, England in 2022 with a BSc in Chemistry. During her undergraduate degree, she conducted a year of research in the Manetsch group at Northeastern University, MA focusing on the total synthesis of streptothricin F. Inspired by her time in the Manetsch group, Hanna wanted to continue to pursue natural product synthesis and so joined the Porco group in 2022. Her research focuses on the total synthesis of ohioensin A. Outside of the lab, Hanna enjoys collecting plants, spending time with her cat Juno, and thrift shopping. ​
