Will Gilmore

Will Gilmore grew up outside of Boston, where he attended Xaverian Brothers High School. He received his B.S from Stonehill College in 2020, where he was the recipient of the chemistry department's William C. LaPlante award for excellence in chemistry. His undergraduate research focused on the synthesis of novel, asymmetric NHC catalysts. During the summer of 2019, he was a medicinal chemistry intern at Eisai Inc. in Cambridge, MA, where he worked on the lead optimization of a small molecule drug to treat and prevent Alzheimer's Disease. After graduating from Stonehill, Will subsequently enrolled at Boston University and began research in Dr. Porco's lab. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, video games, and football.
