Chris grew up in Melrose, Massachusetts. He attended and received a B.A. in chemistry from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. As an undergraduate student his research was focused on the total synthesis of cryptoconcatone H and obolactone under Professor Kevin Quinn. He graduated from Holy Cross in 2024 and joined the Porco group at Boston University as a graduate student with a focus on synthesis. In his free time Chris enjoys cooking, playing guitar, and video games.
